Buffalo’s ‘James the Ice Cream Cycle Dude’ in Studio with Mix Morning Rush [VIDEOS]

You've probably seen him all over your Facebook feed, and now, James the Ice Cream Cycle Dude is in the Mix 96 studio.

His Facebook page has blown up after some pretty hefty national attention!

The cards we're holding are just a FEW of the "thank you" notes he has the kids write – kids who receive free ice cream as a result of online donations.

While James was in studio, we learned that while he's been the "ice cream cycle dude" since about 2007, this year was the first year he really thought of the donation part.  He said they ARE allowed to give out a certain amount of bars for free but the need was bigger.  Some kids, for whatever reason, just don't always have the $1 on them.

He wanted to see every kid who wanted ice cream to have it. What a wonderful showing of BuffaLove!
