If you're like me, you've got great intentions when it comes time to settle down with some Netflix. The kids are in bed, no one is demanding Teen Titans Go or another episode of Peppa Pig. It's YOU time baby.

So now what?

Here's a list of five shows that you didn't have time to watch when they came out, that are worth catching up on now.

1. Game of Thrones (HBO)
This must-watch series debuted in 2011, but because you have little kids, you haven't had an hour to watch something with swearing, boobs, violence, sex, and very realistic fire-breathing dragons. I binged 7 seasons in under two weeks (which was a record for me until my latest obsession with Netflix's Black Mirror). And no, I barely did anything else. And I loved it.

2. 30 Rock (NBC, available on Hulu)
I recently re-watched this series, which ran on NBC from 2006-2013, after news of the Harvey Weinstein and Matt Laurer sex abuse scandals broke. As a series, 30 Rock is a meta perspective of a TV show about a TV show to begin with, and the writing contains just as many inside references to known bad behavior in the industry - which made for a totally different watch this last time around. Also, Tina Fey is a comedy treasure, and this show is loaded with some of her best work.

3. Black Mirror (Netflix)
Black Mirror is an anthology-style show, meaning each episode is a stand-alone story. The stories all incorporate the major themes of technology, social media, and the side effects of reliance on it. For sci-fi fans, if you haven't watched Black Mirror yet, you're really missing out. I binge watched all four seasons in two days. Whether you can, or you can't...you're probably right.

4. The Entire TGIF Lineup from the 90s (Hulu)
Hulu has the collection of 90s TV gems, but nothing will compare to the classic TGIF lineup: Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters, Step By Step, and Hanging With Mr. Cooper. Watching these shows again as a grown up is a lot of fun.

5. 13 Reasons Why (Netflix)
It's been almost a year since this series debuted on Netflix, and was the subject of a lot of discussion about bullying and teen suicide. Still worth a watch. There's no release date for season 2, but it will be out sometime this year.
